Celebrating Our Community’s Heritage

We are excited to celebrate the Quilcene Historical Museum’s 30th Anniversary of operation. This is a milestone for all of us, as Worthington Park comes into full operation – continuing our mission to preserve of local history by weaving it into life’s everyday events. We appreciate all your support given over the past 30 years, and look forward to building a greater legacy, long into the future. Read our blog post with the minutes from our founding meeting!

Annually over 1000 guests from 67 Washington cities and towns, 13 states and 5 foreign countries toured our exhibitions. School children, 4-H groups, senior citizens and disabled persons come for tours of our grounds and exhibits.

In addition to our amazing concerts and events at our Linger Longer Outdoor Theater, the museum plans special events in conjunction with area celebrations such as Brinnon Shrimp Fest in May, Quilcene Alumni Luncheon in June, a summer wine and cheese tasting fund-raising event, tribal canoe journey in July/August, All-Quilcene Yard Sale in August, and the Quilcene Fair in September.

THANK YOU to all our
friends, family and supporters
who made it all possible.
