Dub of South Burlap

The story of the Satterlee Family, the newspapers they founded and more importantly the story of Quilcene – nee South Burlap.  “Dub” Satterlee was 11 years old and full of excitement and enthusiasm for the new life opening up to him and his family on the Olympic Peninsula along the shores of Hood Canal.  Autobiographical stories make for rewarding reading about the daily lives of people in “South Burlap”.
