Work Crews & Projects
Whether your skills or interests are in landscaping, carpentry, cleaning or painting we welcome your help. Work crews meet weekly at the museum and grounds to help keep the museum and park attractive. You can join in every week or just occasionally, depending on your schedule.
Other long- and short-term projects include such areas as research, creating exhibits or data entry. Something for everyone!

Museum Docent
Do you love learning about local history and teaching others about it? Then volunteering as a docent in the Quilcene Historical Museum is for you. Our visitors come from local communities, other states and countries. Becoming a docent is a terrific way to meet people. Contact Cleone Telling at 71cleone@gmail.com if you are interested. You can even bring a friend and docent together. Thank you in advance for helping keep the doors open for visitors.
Events
You’ll be a part of the excitement when you help with events. If you enjoy races, we need people at stations to check in participants, provide information and much more. The Up Up Up Circus, Tasting Gala and Fiber Festival need volunteers at information tables and to operate activities like raffles. Or how about helping coordinate the ever-popular annual Scarecrow Contest?
